Joel Gonzalez is a proud first generation student, Mexican American, and son of immigrant parents. He currently lives in the state of Texas, and studies at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. Joel is expecting his Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design, and minor in Art History. As an artist, Joel has had experience with many forms of art, but his favorite medias include digital art, photography and traditional art. As a child, Joel became familiar with art, but has been pursuing it full-time for several years. When creating art, Joel is mostly inspired by his traditional ethnic roots and his surroundings. Although he has not yet had many highlights in his career, he hopes to one day inspire and connect with others through his artwork.
